There's more to life than reading..

If I had a dime for every time this was said to me, let's just say I'd have a lotta money. And I know it all comes from a good place and whatnot, but I think it's less about reading and more about how culturally and emotionally regressive we all are living like.
Hobbies and leisure are just not appreciated until it is something that earns money, and maybe that will be nice cushioning but certainly not necessary.

This is why I'm so proud of myself for creating this website, my consistent reading habits might be irksome and incomprehensible for some but frankly, I do not care, because it is singlehandedly the only thing (apart from my dog) that has helped me keep my sanity in place.
Now, before I switch to my philosophical persona, let's move on, shall we?
I'm currently reading Quicksilver by Callie Hart which has been literally all over Instagram and TikTok lately, and it is the perfect fantasy book for all us girlies who love Morally Grey MMCs and stubborn female leads, with an enemy-to-lovers romance that just hits sweeter than even what the romantic comedies do! The world-building of the book is super intriguing and I'm halfway through it and I cannot put it down! I look forward to seeing the love blossom, iykyk.
I'm also looking forward to starting Bewitched by Laura Thalassa, but I am trying not to hold great expectations, her previous trilogy 'The Rhapsodic Series' had really ruined my appetite for books when I read it last. However, it's the book of the month for the book club that I'm a part of and the book members are kinda appreciating it, so I'll be picking it up pretty soon too. Wish me luck!
Upcoming:
But more than that, I'm feeling kinda bittersweet about the approaching end of the Dark Verse series by Author Runyx. The last book, 'The Syndicater' releases month-end, well at least I can enjoy the re-read for the time being.
October is also the month when J T Geissinger's postponed book, 'Beg For Me' will be released, and mark my words, if there is an author that can make you feel emotionally and physically hot and bothered, then it's her! I love her books so much.
There are also like a ton of other books being released in October, such as Sophie Lark's book and Ali Hazelwood's first audiobook, and so many more, but you can find out more by keeping an eye on my Instagram.
I'll really try to be active, but hey you know me, I might just actually be reading somewhere LOL.
