Forget-me-not!

For someone who refers to this website as her baby, it was surely a forget-me-not scene on the other end. But honestly, there's no harm in basking in the warmth of life. I'm thankful for it and not gonna guilt trip myself on this one.

There's a message here and I hope you get it.

This is only the second post of 2025, and I surely plan to rectify that (warning: do not believe me). But I've read some incredible books, discovered a couple of new authors, extended my TBR by another mile, and so basically I've done pretty much the regular stuff, and it is time to spill the tea!

Let's do a deep dive now, shall we? (Gotta say, I love saying shall we, it is just so Victorian)

First things first: I truly, madly, deeply love Ali Hazelwood. I just finished reading Deep End, which is, holy smokes, so amazing. My prude friends, please stay away; I don't want you guys to cry. Smut aside, Ali is such a brainiac. Her books provide fodder for my brain, and I'm all here for it. I cannot wait for all her releases lined up for this year!

I also had the pleasure (pun intended) of reading Den of Vipers by K A Knight and I've some feelings which I'm not gonna tell, which I cannot tell, but if you're into certain tropes my friend, go ahead, start reading and ping me too!

Eep, I stumbled upon it and read Audacity by Elodie Hart, and my my I love a woman who can use her brain and sex as weapons to shatter glass ceilings while also landing up in her HEA after all. Waiting for the next Seraph book!

Moving on, I also had the pleasure of receiving Aarti Raman's latest book- This Wild Catastrophe's ARC, and reading the book has been a blast. It has the perfect amount of desi American vibes, good 'ol pining, and cute sappy romance moments that I know we all girlies deserve in real life.

Now realistically speaking, the chances of another post being uploaded before March are kinda slim, so if you're invested in my reading journey and whatnot, please check out my Instagram.

I'll be buddy-reading the first two parts from Lauren Robert's Reckless Trilogy as Fearless releases April 8th and I'm unbelievably anxious for it. I'll also pick up Wild Side by Elsie Silver in a day or two, I've already started reading Fight by Sloane St. James as well as Feathers So Vicious by Liv Zander but the progress is unbelievably slow! Fingers-crossed though!

Regardless, it is sure going to be a fun ride, stay along?!

Happy Reading!

It is difficult to tell just how much books mean to me..seems silly right? I'm reader, literally surrounded by words but unable to express!

Books are my respite from the dreariness of life, from the weight of expectations, and prying eyes of society, it is a reprieve that nobody can take away from me! And for that, I'll always be thankful.

Hi, I'm Pooja aka 'that reading enchantress. This page is my courageous attempt to carve a space for myself in this big fat world.

And yes, that is my hand holding the beautiful pendant of a book with a picture of books inside it.

Thankyou for being here, really.
