4 recommendations to move on from ACOTAR- Wait who am I kidding?!

But in all seriousness, I hope you love these recommendations as much as I did. Also, I know I talk about ACOTAR too much, but this series took me back to my #readergirl era.
So the first one on the list is obviously the Crescent City series by Sarah J Mass, because just like more alcohol takes away the hangover (I haven't tried that hack, it's all popular culture), more of Sarah's world and words might just take the edge away from the delirious story of ACOTAR.
The series as of now consists of 3 fat-ass books with the latest release in January 2024, there isn't any new information on if and how the series will go ahead, so readers can see it as a completed series for the time being.

Though, the world-building in Crescent City is unbearably hard to follow but the storyline is super fine. The plot seems rather repetitive at first, but it turns out to be quite multi-layered and complex as one goes ahead, and it does have a #happilyeverafter so that makes up for it.
The second recommendation is the Powerless Trilogy by Lauren Roberts, these books had me in a chokehold the entire time that I was reading them, it was exhilarating. The setting, the chemistry between the lead characters, the difficult odds, and the fate-at-play theme are some of the things I truly loved.
With three of the two books released and overtly loved by the masses, the third and final book will surely make everyone go cray-cray, Fearless, the penultimate book of this amazing series is set to release in April 2025, a long wait but oh so worth it!

The third recommendation is obviously Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean Series, the worldwide buzz generated after the release of the first installment of this series i.e. Fourth Wing stands as a testimony to just how good the world crafted by Rebecca is. The second book released this year, has been much loved and admired- because well obviously, it is very difficult to get over Violet and Xaden.
However, the third book hasn't released yet, but we do have a date and a cover, and a fervent hope for the cliffhanger of book 2 to end up positive. Onyx Storm release next year in January 2025.

My next recommendation is the six-part book series- Crowns of Nyaxia by Carissa Broadbent, the series is divided into three duologies. The first completed and released duology is- The Serpent and the Wings of Night and The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King. The books are hella captivating but the plot is quite complex. The first part of the next duology is set to release in November this year.

My last recommendation is the book that's making many waves right now, When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker. I have to say that the world-building in this book is really complicated and I read it quite slowly as well. But I do believe that the book hasn't even scratched the surface of all that there is to come so I'll wait for the second part that comes out next year in October 2025, titled 'The Ballad of Falling Dragons'.

While these are only some of the fantasy books that I've read myself, there's so much more to read and so much more to tell...so stay tuned as I turn through pages swiftly only to report here ASAP.
Note: I do not claim ownership or association with the creators of the pictures used above.
These are just some of the most phenomenal images of the books mentioned that I found through the respective author's profile.
P.S- I didn't take pictures myself as I don't have all the paperbacks with me.
